Jim Beaver is an actor and author who has an amazing life story. His story is told in his new Book "Life's That Way."

"Life's That Way" is about his life and the loss of his wife due to advanced stages of lung cancer. Jim's wife never smoked.

We fans wanted to do something to honor him and when we asked what charity he supported he told us about The John Wayne Cancer Foundation.

So we are very proud to announce our fundraiser!

At the end of the fundraiser, we will give away an autograph copy of "Life's That Way" to one lucky person who donates.

Hi Jim, thank you for bringing this to my attention, it's a great cause. I could only afford to give a little bit, but every little bit helps, doesn't it? Take care.

I lost my Mom to lung and liver cancer when I was thirteen yrs. old. Hopefully one day there will be a cure and others will never have to witness and endure the pain of watching their loved ones suffer.

Hi, Jim. My father had lung cancer and they took his right lung in two surgeries 12 years ago. I am so sorry about your wife, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will certainly make a donation for you.

Having lost both parents to cancer, I am finding great comfort in reading Jim's book. He has put into words what so many of us feel, but can't express so eloquently. Birthday wishes to Jim and love to his family.

Just wanted to thank you for sharing your story with us all. It's helped me put a lot of things in perspective with my mother and how we're dealing with her own battle with cancer right now. God bless you, Jim! And your daughter as well!

This book is one of the most touching pieces of literature I've ever read. I can't even begin to imagine what you went through, or how hard it was to read through these again for your book, but I want to thank you. You're an inspiration to us all.

I am very sorry about your wife. I can't imagine losing a spouse like that, however I did lose my grandpa to lung cancer which spread to his brain. I am familiar with what you went through in that regard. The world is lucky though, that you have blessed it with your talent, and I'm sure she's smiling down at you from heaven!
